Introducing the New Gold Managed Account

Ascend FX has been providing Forex Managed Account services since February of 2008. We are very excited about our newest managed account offering, the Gold Managed Forex Account. Our new Trade Manager (TM) brings something new to Ascend FX, a software-based, semi-automatic trading system that trades only on the Metatrader trading platform.
Up till now we have always utilized an ECN forex broker because we’ve been skeptical of brokerages that were not matching buyers and sellers, but rather acting as the counter-party to the trader. Fortunately, in the past four months or so, several well respected ECN brokers have customized the Metatrader platform to work with their backend trade servers. With this development Ascend FX is now able to take advantage of the technical sophistication computer software can bring to trading.
We do still have one hurdle to overcome… not all ECN’s offering Metatrader have the additional functionality required to manage client accounts. There are a couple of candidate brokerages we are evaluating and we will select the one we believe offers the best and most reliable services to both our clients and trade managers.
On a side note, in order to protect the privacy of the Trade Manager, we do not reveal his name on the website but will release it to prospective client who demonstrate a legitimate interest in his services.
